It rained most of the weekend but it didn't bother them. It was kind of fitting. They are always up to something adventurous in nature so I shouldn't have been surprised when Brianna was calm about the forecast. I was a tad nervous, hoping we could really utilize the gorgeous outdoors for photos and it turned out perfect. It rained non stop except for the 30 minutes prior and 10 minutes after the ceremony and it was gorgeous.
I've know Brianna since she was twelve; just a brand new seventh grader.
I was her youth leader at church through her senior year. I loved those year getting journey alongside her (and many others) and share in the many things those significant six years bring.
Of course, one of those things was boys. And after all those years I got to witness her meet her future husband, fall in love and become a wife to such a great man. I loved seeing our crew of "kids" arrive in Truckee to celebrate these two! Community is a powerful thing and this one is awesome (although I am a little biased).
