Wathen Sisters

Yesterday we went out just before sunset and squeezed out some potential Christmas card photos with these two. Kari (senior) and Lorin (sophomore) were fabulous. Lorin is in my small group at church, which i Love.

Thanksgiving time.

So I shall give thanks:
*to people who are love to me, teach me to love.
*for my relationship with my creator.
*the abundance of blessings in my life.
*joy, laughter, new days.
*coffee, good music, cvs.
*the simple things.

AND that today, the Friday after thanksgiving, begins CHRISTMAS traditions, festivities, cheer:
*decorating
*7eleven peppermint hot chocolate
*ginger bread houses
*Christmas movies
*scarves
*fireplaces
*Christmas light lookin'

Ah, let it begin. It did tonight with Christmas music and Fred Claus.

Ok, so I have wanted to go to Watson's in the Orange circle forever! Somehow never made it BUT Maggie had equal interest so we seized the oppurtunity and drove on over. The Orange circle is so cute! And it was a perfect crisp fall day and it felt like we we're somewhere else, far away. Anyway, Watson's was fabulous - co cute and decorated for Christmas! :)


















Then, we found this cute little place called The Ugly Mug and we're so down with anything non starbucks and different. It was full of couches, has open mike nite and this:



Plus they served Diedrichs (rip) coffee so bonus points!

Finished the evening with some more eating but it was great to hang with Tiff!

I didn't get a chnace to take a picture yet, but I just drove past Birch St. and the trees are wrapped alternating with red and white lights!

It was beuatiful.

Out loud, alone in my car I said, "Shut up" multiple times out of shock and joy.

So excited.
