What do you love?

I love coffee houses.. ones that are not starbucks.
So Jeff Noah and I are spending some quality time at Natale's coffee - the place of Noah's employment.
This is one of the things we have accomplished:

By the way, food is yummy here and priced very reasonable! And we're on great couches.
This is one of my favorite ways to spend "downtime". I am being productive though, promise. I am on my second large coffee so energy here I come.

more.. later.

I'll follow you into the dark.

So, if you know me.. you know I absolutely LOVE Death Cab For Cutie. So, when it was ticket presale time I was on top of that! So yesterday was the show.. and the end of Maggie's birthday celebration. She's pretty lucky because even better we went her uncle and his friend on friday night as well (with better seats)! Both shows were fabulous, actually way better! extraordinary! They played a fabulous variety of songs and sounded perfect. Plus Rogue Wave opened for them and they we're pretty good.

I'm content.
They ended with transatlanticism which is exactly what I wanted. I was literally crossing my fingers and they pulled through just as I almost became sad!

determination::

for me currently looks like making the most of summer opportunities.

For instance..
*staying up last night chatting and enjoying good company til 4:30 am 'cause we can all sleep all day
*upcoming camping trip
*lunch dates
*doing absolutely nothing (maximizing laziness)
*beach (twice in one week)
*Having tan lines (and I don't get tan). Shows you I am maximizing summer sun as well
*pic nics
and the list will go on!

This particular night last week included roamin laguna and some tasty sushi:

Spain: Part 2::

While in Spain Jordynn also treated me to a visit to the Alhambra - really pretty gardens, historical buildings and watch towers.. It was really pretty, although the lack of sleep had caught up with us and we we're super tired!

so the reason why we we're so tired - the night before we thoroughly enjoyed the Spain night life and danced the night away -literally.. til 6:45 am.. so yes, the sun was coming up and birds we're chirping!

It is crazy that they do not start going out until midnight or so. The discoteca didn't get packed until almost 3:00 am. I am down with the nappin', late night, sleep in culture!

Espana - part one

For those who didn't know.. I went to Granada, Spain for a week to visit Jordynn as she finished her semester there.

It was great! Great to vacation in a new place, great to see her in the foreign city she is now so fond of, great to experience Spanish culture.. and so on. I loved being able to walk everywhere. It is so different that everything is so close together and accessible. It was crazy but fun that nightlife didn't start until after midnight. But who doesnt love to nap, then go out, then sleep in until noon? I do!

Can I say I've been to switzerland if I didn't leave the airport?
