Angela was pretty outnumbered but they evened out a bit with their recent addition, Addison.
It was time to squeeze in some photos before she left the newborn stage. Plus, they are living in a new city, in a new home and pastoring a new community.. so much new life to capture and preserve. Oh, and Christmas time, too!

Gingerbread Houses | Family Traditions

Do you make a gingerbread house every year? What traditions do you have?

We have a list of things we enjoy but this year we made an actual list. We've hit a few special neighborhoods, enjoyed festive beverages and some fun activities like building gingerbread houses. We've been making one (I think every year) since we started dating. I've never made one from a kit but I think it's classy looking. Lesson learned: read the box. This came with no decor (good thing we had some old candy and sprinkles.

I'm sure these kinds of traditions we enjoy will be so fun with kids (calm down, some day) but I love these moments we enjoy together. This guy is the best for not only putting up with my desires, but loving these festivities and making them a priority.

The Gonzalez Family | Tree Decorating

You're never too old for hitting the lot and decorating a tree!

The Gonzalez family is so fun (and special to us). Their "kids" are grown up and we thought it would be fun to document this family event. I mean who knows where life takes them as they adult... what fun memories to have documented. I think they needed matching pajamas (next time, please!).
