crazy love

I am reading Francis Chan's Crazy Love.
Here are some chunks from recent pages I read that stuck out to me:

"having faith often means do what others see as crazy. something is wrong when our lives make sense to non believers."

"how would my life change if i actually thoughts of every person I came into contact with as Christ - the person driving painfully slow in front of me, the checker at the grocery store who seems more interested in chatting than ringing up my items, the member of y family with whom i cant seem to have a conversation with and not get annoyed?"

"as we love more genuinely and deeply, giving becomes the natural response. taking and keeping for ourselves becomes unattractive and imprudent."

"what are YOU doing right NOW that requires faith?"

"the thing that matters most is how we use what we have been given, not how much we make or do compared to someone else. What matters is that we spend ourselves."

What does that stir in you? Anything?
I like the one about treating everyone like Christ. We're supposed to but how often do we? It's definitely not my first instinct in a situation such as a slow driver. I am challenged by that! I don't want my first instinct to be something based on my selfish mindset but quite the opposite.

Some photos for you as well - a few artistic moments from forest home:
