on the verge.
My mind is awake.
I like new places. I am ready for one. What do you say, let's get in the car and drive?
I am going to own a coffee shop someday.
What are you going to do someday?
Things I want to do soon:
*go to the movies alone
*go to seattle
*be me and be content
*learn to love (ongoing)
*walk places
*spend less on food, more on others
*manage my time better
"the avaerage Christian spends ten minutes a day with God; meanwhile the average American spends 4 hours a day watching TV."

con.tem.pla.tion
Incase you were wondering.. Fall officially starts Septmeber 22nd. But, if you ask me, the premier of pumpkin lattes, my hands and feet being cold and leaves changing colors means it's here to me.
Stephen and I had a photo shoot session which some good time to play around and be creative.
Like I said, here comes fall

crazy love
I am reading Francis Chan's Crazy Love.
Here are some chunks from recent pages I read that stuck out to me:
"having faith often means do what others see as crazy. something is wrong when our lives make sense to non believers."
"how would my life change if i actually thoughts of every person I came into contact with as Christ - the person driving painfully slow in front of me, the checker at the grocery store who seems more interested in chatting than ringing up my items, the member of y family with whom i cant seem to have a conversation with and not get annoyed?"
"as we love more genuinely and deeply, giving becomes the natural response. taking and keeping for ourselves becomes unattractive and imprudent."
"what are YOU doing right NOW that requires faith?"
"the thing that matters most is how we use what we have been given, not how much we make or do compared to someone else. What matters is that we spend ourselves."
What does that stir in you? Anything?
I like the one about treating everyone like Christ. We're supposed to but how often do we? It's definitely not my first instinct in a situation such as a slow driver. I am challenged by that! I don't want my first instinct to be something based on my selfish mindset but quite the opposite.
Some photos for you as well - a few artistic moments from forest home:
Good night.

A big part of my heart..
..goes to the college ministry at my church (Eastside Christian Church).
It's been a long time work in progress. I, and many others, have spent so much time praying, brainstorming and seeking to point to Jesus in our ministry and have it be a place where people feel accepted, loved and welcome. I am so thankful for where our ministry is at.. not just numbers but lives, relationships, serving and making a difference.
We recently went to Forest Home: College Briefing. It is a great weekend away to spend time together and focus on our Creator. It's fun to look back over Forest Home trips the last 4 years and think about how much God has done in our ministry. I've been challenged, discouraged, hopeful, encouraged, prayerful, anxious, excited and unsure over the years but god is doing BIG things and I am blessed to be a part of it.

As cliche as it is, God is good.
Happy Wednesday night everyone.
